Aims and Scope
Pakistan Journal of Forestry (PJF) is an open access international journal which publishes the most recent and informative research in all areas of forestry. The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for scientists, students and researchers all over the world to promote and share various new issues and developments in different areas of forestry and allied subjects. The journal is fully committed to provide free access to all articles as soon as they are published. The researchers working in different areas of forestry are invited to participate by publishing their papers in this journal. The medium of publication is English.

History and Introduction
Pakistan Journal of Forestry (Print ISSN 0030-9818; Online ISSN 2960-0553) is the official journal of Pakistan Forest Institute, Peshawar, Pakistan. It was founded and established by Government of Pakistan and its first Editor was S. A. A. Anvery. PJF has been publishing regularly since 1951. In 2023, PJF decided to join the ResearchersLinks publishers for its content management and publications, while still independently regulated under the banner of Pakistan Forest Institute, Peshawar, Pakistan.
PJF is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles on biannually basis in every discipline of forestry. The research articles are received from national and international agricultural scientists, which are referred to highly qualified, capable and experienced subject specialists for evaluation. The journal is managed by highly qualified Editorial Board under the supervision of Chief Editor (Director, Biodiversity Research Division) and Patron (Director General, Pakistan Forest Institute, Peshawar).
More than forty (40) organizations within Pakistan and fourteen (14) international organizations have subscription for the journal.
