ABSTRACT
Artificial hatching of silkworm eggs of Korean variety (Jam 103 x Jam 104) F-2 was conducted by treating them with HC1 solution of different concentrations and for different duration at 460C; after 21 hours of oviposition, Treatment with 14.5% HC1 solution for a period of 5.5 minutes was found to be most suitable for obtaining maximum useful hatchability (98%) under local conditions.
