ABSTRACT
Heliothis arnugera caused 99.9% infestation of the fruits of a medicinal plant Nigela sativa in the medicinal plant garden at the Pakistan Forest Institute, Peshawar during 1993. It caused complete seed losses in 73% of the infested fruits. In rest of the 27% fruits
seed loss rated as heavy (8%), medium (8%) and Light (11%).
